The Submariner was the watch for those who wanted to go on an underwater dive, while the Yacht-Master was the perfect watch for the man watching to enjoy his day on a Yacht or in the club house. Despite its triplock crown, the Yachtmaster only has the ability to reach underwater depths of 320 feet and was clearly not made to accompany divers on their underwater adventures. Simply put, the Yacht-Master is for above water, while the Submariner is for under water needs.
